OCD Cafe

The weather these few weeks are like super duper warm! Wouldn't it be shiok to have some icy drinks or ice-cream right? How about visiting the Obsessive Chocolat Desire (OCD) cafe?

   Mon to Thur: 12pm to 10pm
   Fri to Sat: 12pm to 1am
   Sun: 2pm to 10pm

   How to get there:
   From Ang Mo Kio station, take bus 256
   Map on how to walk from Block 555

Of course, there's a few buses that can reach there... But I recommend bus 256 as it has the least amount of walking distance... Especially on a very hot day... Haha!

Went there with two of my friends on a super hot Saturday after lunch, and it was quite crowded. Well, actually the cafe itself is quite small lah... Haha!

We wanted to get the sesame waffle, but it was sold out. So we got the original waffle. For the ice-cream, we got the Belgian dark chocolate and pistachio flavours. The dark chocolate is 💗. As for the pistachio, it's more on the nutty and salty taste.

I wanted to get ice mocha, but the cafe doesn't sell mocha at all (not to even say ice mocha)! 😢 So I went to try out something new, and so, I went to try this lemonade and elder-flower drink.

Guess what? I dislike the taste. It taste like unsalted eno drink. After you ate the sweet items, this drink tastes slightly bitter. I totally can't accept this drink! 

 The environment isn't that good for chilling too (and it's quite busy during the weekends).  But still, visit this cafe for the ice-cream (especially the chocolate flavours)! As for the drinks, we have yet found anything good.

台北 Taipei - Day 05: Ximending

Our last day in Taipei! Since we don't really have much time left, all we could do was to do last minute shopping.  We checked out from the hostel at about 9+, and headed to Ximending for breakfast and shopping.  We went to Golden Flower for some Taiwanese breakfast toast. It was very crowded man ! We met 2 Hong Kong ladies there; they were standing beside us and we got to know one another as I told them that they could get plastic gloves so as to not dirty their hands. Haha! Our breakfast for 2 As it was really crowded (it's a Sunday and this stall is quite a famous one), we waited for about near 1-hour for the egg and cheese sandwich. We didn't manage to take a photo of the sandwich from another corner of the table as they were taken up by the 2 Hong Kong ladies. Belle-Ville Pancake Cafe @ Bugis Junction

I've been looking at this place for a veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyy long time and finally, I get to try it last month! Ta-daaaaaaa ! The Belle-Ville pancake cafe at Bugis Junction!  Went there with three of my other friends on a Sunday morning. The shop opens at 11AM, I was there first (while waiting for my other friends) at 11.30AM, and there was already a long queue! We queued for about 45 minutes or slightly longer before we got a table; the shop size is really small. So be prepared to queue~  While queuing, the staff will pass us a copy of the menu so that we should have already decided what we want to order by the time we get the table.
