Belle-Ville Pancake Cafe @ Bugis Junction

I've been looking at this place for a veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyy long time and finally, I get to try it last month! Ta-daaaaaaa! The Belle-Ville pancake cafe at Bugis Junction! 

Went there with three of my other friends on a Sunday morning. The shop opens at 11AM, I was there first (while waiting for my other friends) at 11.30AM, and there was already a long queue! We queued for about 45 minutes or slightly longer before we got a table; the shop size is really small. So be prepared to queue~ 

While queuing, the staff will pass us a copy of the menu so that we should have already decided what we want to order by the time we get the table. So here's our orders: 

Strawberry and Mixed Berry Pancake

Chocolate and Grilled Banana Pancake

There are two types of pancake:

1. Fruit and fresh cream on top, or 
2. Fruits and cream layered in between each layers

The minimum layers differ for each type of pancake; the minimum number of layers is 4 and 2 respectively. The pancake texture is also different between the two types. If you prefer an airy and fluffy kind of pancake, go for the fruits and cream layered in between (second type mentioned above). If you're like me who prefers a more firm pancake texture, go for the fruits and fresh cream on top option. 

On top of pancakes, we also ordered sandwiches. We ordered the BLT (stands for bacon, lettuce, and tomato) sandwich and the ham and cheese hot sandwich.

In fact, we ordered the BLT sandwich twice because it's so shiok and goooooooood! Highly recommend this BLT sandwich! 

The pancakes and sandwiches come in a set, so here are our drinks:

Left: Ice coffee (two of my friends ordered the same)

Right: melon soda (green drink) & Belle-Ville Original tea

Don't order the melon soda! It tastes like the 20-cent green coloured drinks sold in my primary school canteen. The ice coffee (according to both of my friends) is acidic type of coffee. So if you are like me who can't stand acidic (sourish) coffee, you may want to skip the coffee drinks there.

Overall I feel that this place sells great pancake and sandwiches. This place is also buzzling and loud (due to the music). A place full of positive and happy vibes. However, I may think twice (or even thrice) about revisiting this place because of the amount of time I need to wait. 😅
