Changi Point Coastal Walk

Image
Hello people, I'm back again to recommend the next venue in Singapore which you can explore. This time round, I'm going to recommend the Changi Point Coastal Walk. I'm not sure if this place is not so well-known as I'm been staying in the East all my life and I hadn't heard of this place until last Sunday.  And as usual, I'll let the photos do the talking ~ 😆 Information:  Half of the coastal walk area (after checkpoint #3) is closed for renovation till end of December 2022 Started the walk at 4.30pm with a friend of mine and we had trouble finding the starting point. Turns out that the starting point was just behind this signboard. HAHA! In case you're as blur (confused) like us - when you see this bridge (which leads to Changi beach), the starting point is behind it (on the left side). Then for the rest of the trail, follow this map. The narrow bridge that leads to Changi beach Once you walked up the walkway (it's a slope) and walked straight all the

Little Guilin

Hello everyone! It's been a long time since I last posted anything. Hope everyone's safe and healthy thus far!  Covid has been around for ~2 years now, borders have open and you may (or may not) want to travel overseas as of yet. If you're like me without having any travel plan yet, why not explore some places in Singapore?  Today I'm going to recommend this very zen place - Bukit Batok Town Park ( aka the Little Guilin). I shall let the photos do more of the talking to you! This park (to be honest) is not very big, but it's soooooooooo beautiful and zen~  It has 2 parts: 1) the more IG-worthy  wuxia -vibe lake Doesn't it look like some wuxia scene? The lake area has nothing much except to take lots of photos/videos... such as these: Walking around the lake... 2) and the other which you've to climb a flight of stairs (you'll see it once you get out of the MRT station) into the park itself. The flight of stairs up to the park Once you climbed up the st

Dessert Time~

Happy Sunday! And Sunday means desserts time~ So I'm going to introduce a dessert (specifically pancake) place - Fluff Stack! #hypeYo~ Fluff Stack has a total of three branches in Singapore, and I went to the Suntec branch. It's really a small shop with small tables. The environment is quite noisy (loud music and caused everyone to be talking loudly), so this place is definitely not suitable for people who wish to find a place to chitchat and chill. As for the price wise, it is still okay.  My friend and I ordered the pistachio (quite sweet) and durian (very sweet) pancakes. Both pancakes are flavourful but too overly sweet! It's really sweet until very jelak (sick of eating) even though we did not pour in the syrup! And t he pancakes are , in my opinion, nua (soggy?) and not fluffy. Mao San Wang durian pancake Pistachio  pancake Not too sure if the durian pancake is like only available for a period of time though... Y'all can try your luck to see if it's still av

Seafood Time~

Image
Hello everyone~  I'm back!  We're slightly more than halfway through the year 2021, h ow's everyone so far?  Anyone has a craving for seafood and Thai food like me?  If yes, then you're in luck because I'm going to introduce this place - Shrimp Prawn Seafood!  Was there in April ( #throwback ) for dinner with my 2 other friends for a birthday celebration.  Claypot Prawn Vermicelli Claypot   Lala Vermicelli Claypot   Scallop Vermicelli TBH, I can't remember what this is called. If I'm not wrong, it's tom yum prawn Spicy   Lala (it was new on the day we ordered) Daddy   Moo Ping (Grilled Pork Sticks) The dishes were all delicious!  The prawn vermicelli, scallop  vermicelli, and moo ping (which we ordered twice) are the popular ones (as you can see in most blog articles). Their lala dishes are also very yummy! However the dishes are all on the pricer side, so you may want to get more people to share on the food! Oh! And you won't feel thirsty hours afte

Belle-Ville Pancake Cafe @ Bugis Junction

Image
I've been looking at this place for a veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyy long time and finally, I get to try it last month! Ta-daaaaaaa ! The Belle-Ville pancake cafe at Bugis Junction!  Went there with three of my other friends on a Sunday morning. The shop opens at 11AM, I was there first (while waiting for my other friends) at 11.30AM, and there was already a long queue! We queued for about 45 minutes or slightly longer before we got a table; the shop size is really small. So be prepared to queue~  While queuing, the staff will pass us a copy of the menu so that we should have already decided what we want to order by the time we get the table. So here's our orders:  Strawberry and Mixed Berry Pancake Chocolate and Grilled Banana Pancake There are two types of pancake: Fruit and fresh cream on top, or  Fruits and cream layered in between each layers T he minimum layers differ f or each type of pancake; the minimum number of layers is 4 and 2 respectively. The pancake texture is also differe

Una Una

About three months ago, my friends and I went to this affordable and delicious unagi place - Una Una - to celebrate one of our friends' birthday.  There are two branches and the details are as follows:      Una Una     Bugis+     201 Victoria St, #04-10     Singapore  188067      Opening Hours:     Mon - Fri: 11.30AM to 3PM, 5PM to 10PM     Sat & Sun: 11.30AM to 10PM     Suntec City Mall     3 Temasek Blvd     Singapore  038983      Opening Hours:     Mon - Sun: 10AM to 10PM This photo was taken in the Suntec City branch I have been to the Bugis+ branch in early August and the Suntec City branch in late September. The atmosphere of the two branches are different. If you want to experience a slightly more traditional Japanese style and zen place, go to the Bugis+ branch. Besides, Bugis+ branch is larger as compared to the Suntec City branch.  So all of us went for the Unagi Hitsumabushi and ordered a grilled squid for sharing.  Unagi Hitsumabushi (regular) Unagi Hitsumabushi (do

Artisanal Bakery Cafe

Image
Hello~  I'm back again to introduce a cafe today, and the cafe I'm going to recommend is the Artisanal Bakery cafe - bread & hearth!     Artisanal Bakery Cafe - Bread & Hearth     18 Keong Saik Road     Singapore  089125      Opening Hours:     Mon - Sat: 8AM to 7PM     Sun: 8AM to 6PM      How to get there:     Outram Park station (4 minutes walk) or      Chinatown station (8 minutes walk) My friend and I went to Artisanal Bakery cafe on a Saturday afternoon (at about 3.30pm) to chill. The shop itself is quite small (if I remember correctly, there's only 2 seats outside and about 6-7 tables inside the cafe). It wasn't very crowded when we reached the cafe (but there wasn't much pastries and breads left). So we ordered 2 drinks and 2 items to share (since we were supposed to be meeting another 2 more friends for dinner). Here's what we've ordered! Avocatoast Super love the mushroom and the toast! The scramble egg is a little wet.  Oh! Oh! Oh! For th
