Recommendations for Winter Busan

Happy Lunar New Year!

Exactly one month ago was my last day at Korea. Hence, I'm gonna recommend the places in Busan (in no particular order) I think are good and worth going (especially if you're not going there for the first time)! Hopefully this post won't be too long! 😄

Gwangalli Beach
The beach is beautiful with all the lightings in the evening and at night. Unlike the Haeundae beach, this beach is so much quieter and less crowded.

Gwangalli Beach
219, Gwanganhaebyeon-ro,
Suyeong-gu, Busan
부산광역시 수영구 광안해변로 219 (광안동)

Nearest station(s):
  210 Geumnyeonsan station (preferred) or
209 Gwangan Station (Metro Line 2)

A long wide shot of the beach!

See the beautiful 'bridge' there?
Not sure if it's really a bridge, but it's unreachable...

Sorry my phone camera cannot capture its beauty, so you should head down and see them with your own eyes!

Songdo Cable Car & Sky Park
We got a half day trip from KLOOK which includes Busan SkyWalk and Culture Gamcheon Village. But I'm not gonna talk about the culture village at all since it's already very popular (and there's no change since my last visit in 2018). Instead, I'm gonna talk about the air cruise (or the Busan cable car). 😁

Anyway, we need to board the cable car up to the sky park. You can choose between the normal cable car and the crystal ones (of course, the crystal ones are more expensive). We took the normal cable cars since some of my friends are afraid of heights.

Cute decorations at the cable car ticketing booth!

So Christmas-y! >_<

Seeing the decorations before boarding the cable car made us feel as though we'll be entering the dinosaur world~ ROARS!

The cable car ride was 😍😍😍 (though it's quite sunny and hot)!

Look at the big round sun~

After ~15-20 minutes of cable car ride (I think), we reached!

Ahhhhhhhhh~ Pretty hor? There's also lots of 'moving' dinosaurs... ROARS !!!!

Eh? Don't believe me? Watch the videos!

This looks like "小辣椒" but the dinosaur version~

Om nom nom...

The dinosaurs moved and roared around on a timely basis (I think every 10 minutes). HAHAHAHA!

This place is definitely a great place for families with young children! Even adults like us also enjoyed ourselves very much there. Too bad we're on a tour, we got to visit this place quickly and head to the next beautiful place.

Oryukdo Skywalk
This is truly a very beautiful place~

Oryukdo Skywalk
137, Oryukdo-ro, Nam-gu, Busan
  부산광역시 남구 오륙도로 137 (용호동)

  Operating Hours:
  9am to 7pm (last entry is 6.50pm)

For this place, I'll let the photos and video do the talking. Super 😍 this place!

Stunning view!

The ray of enlightenment! HAHA!
Haeundae Beach
The final place I recommend is this famous beach! Super crowded as usual, regardless of what season. LOL!

Haeundae Beach
  264, Haeundaehaebyeon-ro,
  Haeundae-gu, Busan
  부산광역시 해운대구 해운대해변로 264 (우동)

Nearest station(s):
  Haeundae station (Metro Line 2)

We stayed in this place for the whole day because there was a light show in the evening (solely for Christmas I think). Hence in the meantime, we visited the Nurimaru Apec House and went to search for the Mermaid statue and the lighthouse.

En route to find the mermaid statue!

The Mermaid statue

TBH, I think the views are more breathtaking than the statue and lighthouse themselves. HAHAHHA! I recommend to just take a stroll there, especially if you love sceneries!

Anyway, back to the light show at the Haeundae beach.

This is how it looks when the lights are switched on!

This is us inside the round thingy above

Alright, that's all for this post about Busan! By the way, all my photos in this post are raw ones; I did not put any filters to them. I like my photos to be as raw as possible. Hehe. 😉

Ciaoz.
